Let’s send love and comfort to the Apalachee families, teachers, students and community. This is something we can DO to make a big difference and a ‘love wave’.
The Original Love Box is a social and emotional learning tool that brings families, children and communities closer together. ~Christine Martinello, Founder, Love Box Foundation.
We can provide Love Box kits filled with OUR handwritten love notes, plus blank love notes and a book for them to do the Love Box tradition. They’ll have everything they need to feel comforted, loved and to be able to do the Love Box tradition in their classrooms or with their families. The Love Box kit contains a keepsake Love Box, 20 blank love notes and the ‘Love Movement’ book – all fora donation of $25 to the Love Box Foundation (501C3 charity).
Love Box kits will provide much needed comfort, healing, closeness and love. The community can do the Love Box tradition and create classes that are inclusive of everyone and more loving. You’re invited to write love notes and provide Love Box kits. Here are a few ways to help:
Give as many Love Box kits as we can. There are 200 teachers & staff and approx. 1,900 students.
– Write love notes in person at the ‘Building Self-worth & Confidence’ learning event @ the Love Box Station within DMIW. Program is 6-7 pm & we’ll write notes from 7-7:30 pm.
– Get love notes & write them at home or in the office or with friends. We’ll send you blank notes or you can get them at the Love Box Station within DMIW or Papa Jacks in Buford, GA.
Wouldn’t it be awesome if we could give everyone in the school the opportunity to feel surrounded by comfort & love? We need your help to make that happen.
Let’s ‘love on’ our neighbors and give them the opportunity to grow in love, for a long time to come.
